CAN THE PLATES BE WASHED?

Yes. All plates are decorated with traditional majolica glazes and fired to over 1150 degrees C.
This means that the design is integral to the plate and will never wash or wear off.
All plates are suitable for use in a dishwasher.

HOW CAN THE PLATES BE DISPLAYED?

The plates are 10" diameter and look lovely displayed on a shelf or dresser using plate stands or on a wall using plate hooks or self-adhesive hooks, all are available from good department stores or DIY shops.

Tile murals created from your own design.

HOW DURABLE ARE THE TILES?

The tiles can be washed and submerged in water without the design ever rubbing or washing off. The tiles are decorated with glazes that are fired in a kiln to over 1150 degrees C. This means that the design is integral to the tile and it is impossible for them to wear away or lose their colour.
The high kiln firing also makes them suitable for use behind an Aga or Rayburn or as a fireplace surround.

It is recommended that you use a professional tiler to install your tiles.

Owing to the nature of the materials and the hand painted process, minor imperfections and colour variations are characteristic of the tiles. This adds to their unique charm.
